All source material is photographed against red paper to remove the background without AI or regeneration.
The collection copies are physical copies as described, and every reference image is a photograph of the source material.
DIRECT TRANSLATION
This project applies the same universal translation rules to every language and writing system examined.
AI is strictly trained and instructed not to reference, consult, reproduce, or rely on existing translations or transcriptions of the source material when producing a translation. Translations are independently cross-checked for hallucinations and compared against scholarly translations without altering the direct translation. If interesting discrepancies between scholarly interpretations and the direct translation exist, these aspects are investigated and the differences highlighted in the source work.
We use only the scholarship necessary to read the language.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The purpose of this project is to re-examine source material independently, minimizing inherited assumptions and interpretive bias while making primary sources accessible, identifying meaningful patterns, and providing readers with the original evidence to explore.
Lost Truth is an evolving record of investigation rather than a predetermined argument. As new evidence is examined, earlier observations may be strengthened, revised, challenged, or discarded. The project follows the evidence wherever it leads.
